At the Culture Futures Conference (www.culturefutures.org), World Summit on Climate Change COP 15, December 2009, Copenhagen, Denmark, I3C launched the global BREAD Movement: Bridging Resources for Ecological and Art-based Development (http://connect2culture.culture360.org/2009/12/09/a-bread-house-in-my-great-grandmothers-house/) coordinated by the Bread Houses Network and associated with Slow Food International, which inspires people from all over the world to come together around bread-making, arts, and discussions in order to link ecology and food to art and culture in a holistic model of citizenship education with various trainings organized around the collective activity of bread-making for different age and social groups.
