African Arterial Network Annual Meeting (September 19-21, 2009, Johannesburg, South Africa)
The African Arterial Network Annual Meeting (September 19-21, 2009, Johannesburg, South Africa) brought together representatives of 28 countries members (out of 54 African nations in total) from the diverse field of arts and culture, from professional theater and TV to community cultural centers and organizations. This is the first continental African arts-based network, and I3C participated in the meeting in order to get to know and invite the network to become associated with I3C, while also introducing to the Arterial other similar continental networks (European, Latin American and most recent East Asian one).
